What is CBD?

CBD Oil is a dietary supplement and an excellent source of nutrients that can be taken as part of a daily diet. Unlike cannabis oil (generally referring to high THC oil), CBD Oil is rich in natural cannabinoids, is legal, and is not psychoactive, meaning that it does not cause one to get high.  THC, is the compound naturally found in the cannabis plant that is associated with the feeling of “getting high”. We use High CBD USDA Organic Industrial hemp which is categorized as having less than .3% THC.

Yes. Our full spectrum hemp extract uses the whole plant so it contains several cannabinoids including cannabidiol (CBD).  Some companies use misleading terms to have you believe that they are selling CBD (like on Amazon) but in fact it is Hemp Oil.  This article in the differences in Hemp Oil and CBD or Hemp Extract Oil.

There are a wide variety of factors that can influence which strength will work best for you.  We suggest that you purchase the 20mg/mL (600mg total) bottle and then use our graduated droppers to determine what strength you feel the benefits.  Since it is the middle strength that we offer in the 1oz size, it is easy to take a little more or a little less depending on your experience.

Yes. Our products are Full Spectrum, so they will contain small amounts of THC in them, but always under .3% by weight.

Yes. People metabolize cannabinoids differently which could cause a positive test  and there is a large variety of standards for what would cause a positive test.  For these reasons we suggest that if you might be drug tested to not take ANY CBD products.

Hemp Farming

Our hemp is grown in Colorado on our USDA Organic family farm that is free of pesticides in soil that is free of any toxins. Where the hemp is grown is just as important as how it is grown. A lot of hemp comes from Asia and is grown in ground that is poisoned with heavy metals or air that is polluted.  The hemp will detoxify the soil and air, but then those toxins are in the hemp sold to US companies.  We will ALWAYS use Certified Organically grown hemp from our family farm in Colorado.

Yes. All of the hemp used is USDA Certified Organic.  That is important for numerous reasons.  Unlike other farms we don’t spray any pesticides on our plants and have oversight as to what we feed and how we cultivate our high level CBD Plants.  This quality control insures that the cleanest hemp is being cultivated to make the best CBD Products.

Extraction

We do all the extraction for our own products. We own two Supercritical CO2 extraction machines. We will NEVER purchase oil from another producer because we can’t guarantee quality. That is why we keep everything in-house.

Supercritical CO2 is a form of extraction that is used for many extracts.  USP Grade Liquid CO2 is heated with increased pressure, which gives it the properties of a liquid and a gas, helping it go through the hemp as well as extract the product from it.  We prefer it because it is currently the only solvent free method of extraction.

Yes. We do not process our distillate further to remove any of the cannabinoids because we believe that the cannabinoids work better when taken together in the same ratios they are naturally found in the plant. This article explains why Full spectrum is important in a CBD product.

We begin by growing ultra-premium hemp high CBD content on our USDA Organic farm in Colorado. Once ready, that hemp is hand-harvested and shucked before it is delivered to our nearby facility for extractions. Once there it is extracted via supercritical CO2 extraction, activated in an industrial oven, and then filtered to remove the fats and lipids. Lastly it goes through short-path distillation that removes any impurities.

One Farm is proud to not only have a USDA Organic Farm with organic hemp, but now our Tinctures, Water Soluble CBD and our CBD Distillate are Certified USDA Organic.  We are constantly striving to product the best CBD products and with the USDA Handlers license we are demonstrating just that. Here is an article that explains the importance of having a USDA Organic CBD Product.

One Farm by WAAYB CBD Products

Our CBD oil contains the following natural ingredients: USDA Organic hemp extract, Organic MCT fractionated coconut oil, and organic flavoring (organic sunflower seed oil and either cinnamon, lemon or peppermint oil, depending on the flavor you purchase). Our pet product and flavorless contains the following ingredients: USDA Organic hemp extract and USDA Organic MCT fractionated coconut oil.

The number on the front of the bottle (10mg, 20mg, 30mg, and 40mg) represents how much CBD there is per serving (1mL). The large number on the front (300mg, 600mg, 900mg, 1200mg, 1800mg, and 2400mg) represents the total amount of CBD in then bottle. The number on the back of the bottle under supplement facts will be larger because that represents the total amount of hemp extract per serving.  For example the 900mg 1oz bottle of CBD oil has 30mg/mL of CBD and 9mg of other cannabinoids, for 39mg of Organic Hemp Extract on the supplement facts.

The CBD industry initially adopted labels that showed the total amount of CBD on their labels.  We felt that it was confusing as to how much CBD someone was taking per serving so we switched our labels to show the amount of CBD per serving.  Our 300mg bottle is our 10mg/mL, our 600mg bottle is 20mg/mL, our 900mg/1800mg bottle is 30mg/mL and our new 1200mg/2400mg bottle is 40mg/mL.

Ideally we suggest that you store your One Farm Organics CBD Oil in a cool dark place, but in direct sunlight over 2 years it would only degrade slightly.

It is completely normal for your product to change colors. Since we don’t use any preservatives both the USDA Organic distillate and the organic MCT oil will change color naturally. This does not impact the efficacy of our CBD Oil.

Yes! In fact we have a line of products specifically for pets.  Extend the same benefits you enjoy with One Farm by WAAYB’s products to your dog or cat. Please note that cats have some allergies to peppermint or cinnamon so it is important to use only the Pet or Flavorless products with pets.

We only have two ingredients in our Transdermal CBD Cream.  The same great USDA Organic CBD extract found in all of our other products and a liposomal base.
