Michael’s latest endeavor Peak Mind was created to bring the thought leaders of our time together to inspire a new vision for leadership amidst the challenges and opportunities of our time. He is currently focused on the potential of the block chain for scalable social impact and the frontiers of functional medicine.

As the inaugural National Director of the Global Poverty Project, Michael co-created Global Citizen, a movement and music festival dedicated to ending poverty that gathers 70k people in Central Park every year through their own social actions. With musical performances by artists including Beyonce, Jay-Z, Stevie Wonder, Neil Young, the Black Keys and the Foo Fighters, and many others the festival has leveraged the voices of millions of Global Citizens to raise billions of dollars in new commitments for programs serving the World’s poorest people.

Michael was a graduate fellow at Columbia University and a Fulbright scholar.
